The Higgins Armory Museum is the one and only facility in the United States devoted entirely to the preservation and interpretation of arms and armor. Housed in a quirky building that combines art deco elements with Medieval interior design, the museum's collection covers a vast range of history and cultures, including ancient Greek helmets, opulent suits of armor from the Renaissance, and much more. It resides about 30 miles due west of downtown Boston, next to Dodge Park.
