Opened in the late 1850s, Mechanics Hall is considered one of the nation's premiere concert halls designed before the Civil War. Internationally famous for its stellar acoustics and enormous, beautiful hook organ, the Hall is home to the annual Worcester Music Festival—the country's oldest music festival.
